We're Launching the Archery Parent Podcast Episodes! Hooray!

After more than a year, from the initial: "Yeah, I should I do a podcast," to now, we at the Archery Parent Podcast are beyond thrilled to announce that we are finally releasing our podcast episodes!

But, haven't you already been posting your podcast? Actually, no. If you've been following The Archery Parent Podcast on Instagram, you will have seen all the great content we have been releasing thus far. Those are separate to our actual podcast episodes. You can find our podcast episodes on our website (Episodes) or wherever you listen to podcasts.

As part of our launch, we are releasing not one, not two, but THREE episodes!

You can expect our next episode to be released in two weeks!

EPISODE 1:

Vanessa Lee: Archery Insider

Vanessa Lee is a member of the World Archery (WA) Communications Team.

If you followed WA's coverage of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games this past summer, you surely would have seen behind-the-scenes coverage only an insider like Vanessa Lee can get. Her content on Archery+, Facebook, and Instagram for WA was thorough, insightful, and so open.

In the same light, so was her interview for the Archery Parent Podcast, however this time around, instead of bringing forth the stories of other international Archers, she shares her own Archery origin story as a Canadian athlete, and how she became a commentator and multimedia journalist for World Archery, the governing body of the sport of Archery. It's a great story!

SUMMARY:

  • Vanessa's Archery Journey
  • Training in Korea
  • Support Systems for Archers
  • Challenges and Overcoming Doubts
  • Transitioning to a New Role
  • Behind the Scenes at World Archery Events
  • Looking Ahead to the Olympics

(NOTE: This episode was recorded before the 2024 Paris Olympics.)
